Universidad Azteca is located in Chalco, a community in Mexico State in the greater Mexico City area.

Universidad Azteca de Chalco is affiliated to Centro de Estudios Superiores Azteca. The private university was established in 1994 and recognized by the federal Secretary of Public Education (SEP) of the United States of Mexico first in 1997. The university is officially recognized with Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial de Estudios (RVOE) by the Secretary of Public Education (SEP) to award graduate and postgraduate degrees including the following study areas:International Commerce, Business Administration, Information Systems and Data Processing (IT), Law, Psychology (including NLP, Coaching).(Public) Accounting (including Financial Management), Educational Science.The university offers classroom on-campus as well as distance education and e-learning programs and awards degrees in a variety of specialisations in the above mentioned study areas.The University is listed with the official Mexican government cultural and scientific information exchange network as a recognized and accredited university  www.nl.gob.mx/?P=scoe_op_nac_mexico

Universidad Azteca de Chalco is also listed with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), under the list of universities of Mexico and the International Handbook of official directory Universities of accredited universities published by the United Nations

DDr. Gerhard Berchtold, Dean of European Programmes and European Representative, per address: Adamgasse 30, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria.

Universidad Azteca (UA) , established in 1994 and accredited in 1997, is listed on the international level with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), International Association of Universities under the list of universities of Mexico in the International Handbook of official directory of accredited universities published by the United Nations.

Universidad Azteca, formerly Universidad Azteca de Chalco, is a Private University with Recognition of the Official Validity of Studies awarded by the federal Secretary of Education (RVOE), accredited by the Federal Ministry of Education of the Republic and recognized by the Federal Government to provide higher education and award graduate and postgraduate university degrees. According to the Mexican Higher Education laws Universidad Azteca is authorised to offer study programmes and award degrees with RVOE and offer autonomous programmes and award academic degrees of the university. The study areas with RVOE (accreditation) are Administration Informatics; Architecture; Business Administration; Education Sciences; International Commerce; Law (general, postgrad specialisations in fiscal and penal codes); Pedagogics; Psychology; Public Accounting.

The University awards undergraduate Bachelor (TecSupUniv), graduate Master (Licenciado), postgraduate Master (Maestria) and Doctor degrees in international programmes in accordance with the Bologna system and issues a diploma supplement. Universidad Azteca International Network System is the university extension, collaborating with several universities globally and branch campus facilities in Austria, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, India.

The European Programmes include: Business Administration, Psychology, Law study programmes, particularly aiming at graduates of university level programmes and university programmes. Universidad Atzeca degrees can be used in Austria in accordance with � 88 Universitatsgesetz.

Minimum requirement for admission to Master / Licenciado programme is 180 ECTS credits. Minimum requirement for admission to PhD programme is 240 ECTS credits. Revalidation is conducted in accordance with Article 61 of the Ley General de Educacion and the Ordinance Acuerdo 286 based on the SATCA/SEP recommendations of equivalent workloads as applied by Universidad Azteca: 1 ECTS credit = 1,25 creditos (Ac. 243) 60 ECTS credits = 75 creditos (1 full study year)

The PhD in Management awarded by Universidad Azteca is considered comparable to a British Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) standard by UK NARIC statement of comparability. Universidad Azteca in Central Europe collaborates with selected higher education providers in Austria and Switzerland in order to provide state-of-the-art bona-fide higher education in the given specializations offered. Collaboration agreements with European Universities as well.
